Behind the Art of a Picture Book

Join us for a closing reception for the solo-show, “Behind the Art of a Picture Book” by award winning children’s book illustrator, and Factory alumni, Laura Knorr. Reception will take place in the Center for Creativity Gallery on the 2nd floor of the Pajama Factory. Live music will be provided by Kevin Badolato, and light refreshments will be available.

This exhibition will showcase a large body of Laura’s illustrative work in acrylic, oil glazes, colored pencil, while also delineating the creative process behind the illustrating of a picture book from manuscript, sketches, finalized artwork, to the book itself.

Her Illustrations include award-winning children’s books and paintings for corporations and institutions.
