This two part workshop is open to novice photographers. No experience necessary. Personalized instruction. All materials are included. This is an excellent program for home schooled students.
Sunday. February 22nd, 1pm–4pm. B&W film introduction (part I)
Learn basic functions of a 35mm SLR camera. (These skills transfer directly to digital SLR cameras). You will learn the basics of exposure, depth of field and composition. Students are given a camera and film to take home and shoot.
• Age 13 and over • Limit 3 students • Camera and film provided • Learn 35mm SLR functions • Shoot a roll of film and return it to the darkroom by Fri. March 6th. • Optional DIY processing Wed. March 4th
Wednesday. March 4th, 6pm–9pm. Open darkroom (optional)
Black and white chemistry and paper included. Instruction provided. $10 per hour/two hour minimum.
Sunday. March 8th, 1pm–4pm. B&W film introduction (part II)
Choose a frame from your roll of film and make an 8×10 print. Learn to use the darkroom and equipment for print making.
