It has been a snowy and cold winter – and, like the rest of the country, we are doing what we can to stay ahead of the weather – keeping heat going, pipes from freezing and paths and parking lots clear. A huge call-out to our dedicated staff who have been working overtime on this front. What is warming our hearts, though, are some new activities that are happening in Building 6 at the Pajama Factory.
Hurray for Jennifer Eisner (at Celebrations Cakes and Confections) who is baking up a storm and Todd Foresman (of Way Cool Beans) who has recently opened with a mission to serve up some great tasting coffee – he roasts and fresh grinds his own coffee beans! And then there is the new Saturday Market at the end of the hall with local artists and many vendors who have joined us for the winter months from the Williamsport summer farmer’s market.
Whether hot coffee, a warm cupcake or some great food/craft items to brighten even the darkest winter day, this part of the building has become a new hub of activity. In fact, Mark heads down to Karen at Roots Hair Studio for his regular haircut – drop Karen an email to set up an appointment. And with all this activity, we’ve given the hallways a fresh coat of paint (and plan to get some artwork up on the walls!). In any case, on your next trip to the building, check out Building 6.
As always, thanks for your support. Spring is almost here – in the meantime, stay warm!
