Brownfield Coalition to meet, showcase grant benefits

Lycoming County commissioners, the county’s environmental consulting firm and representatives from the city and Muncy Borough will hold an outreach meeting at 10:30 a.m. June 7 in the Community Room of the Pajama Factory, 1307 Park Ave.

The meeting will focus on the final environmental assessment results and accomplishments of the Brownfield Coalition.

“The Pajama Factory is a really prime example of a Brownfield sight being reused and, really, what we want the program to achieve,” said Jenny Picciano, of the county Department of Planning and Community Development. “The current property owner had a vision of turning it into something else, and he’s making that vision a reality.”
